Breakfast is Coming to Castle Hills!!
The Village Shops at Castle Hills will have a new family friendly eatery focusing on Breakfast and Lunch. The Hills Café is set to open its doors in late December 2020 and will be offering various dishes from French Toast, fresh orange juice to Tuscan Panini. Hills Café executed a 10 year lease in the 2810 sqft space that was once occupied by TKO Brewery and will have a capacity of somewhere between 60 and 80 guests. The owner has 15+ years of restaurant experience and operates 3 Starwood restaurants in Frisco and McKinney. After touring the Castle Hills community and the Village Shops, the owner fell in love with the area and noticed it was lacking a good Breakfast place.
With the addition of Hills Café and El Patio Mex-Tex Grill & Bar located in the Realm, Castle Hills residents will have an even greater variety of good eateries to choose from. Help make Hills Café a great success by stopping in for Breakfast or Lunch.

Important Changes to the Castle Hills HOA

Best Ever Hot Wassail Recipe

This is the most amazing hot wassail drink I’ve ever had! Easy to make and full of delicious spices, this wassail will soon be a holiday favorite in your house!
Ingredients
- 8 cups apple cider
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 4 whole cinnamon sticks
- 12 whole cloves or 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pan.
- Bring to simmer over medium-low heat. Reduce heat and continue simmering for 45 minutes. Ladle into cups or mugs and enjoy!
