It is a busy month for Castle Hills especially around the village shops. Below are some of the months activities.

Dino Kidz is an exciting indoor playground for kids to celebrate with the ultimate birthday party, or to develop their motor skills and imagination through play and unique classes in a safe, clean environment.  (10 months-7 years.)

Don't Forget FATHER'S DAY is June 16th.

Speaking as a Father and Grand Father, the best gift we can get is to be around the kids and Grand kids.

Windhaven Extension - Exciting Update

The Windhaven extension from 544 to Castle Hills North is getting close to completion. The city of Lewisville will doing a ribbon cutting ceremony for bridge underpass opening on July 11th with the thoroughfare opening shortly thereafter.

My Recipe

Smoky Mustard-Maple Salmon

  • Recipe courtesy

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz salmon (skinless, about 4 oz for each filet)
  • 3 tablespoons whole-grain or Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or ground chipotle pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and coat with cooking spray.
  • Combine mustard, maple syrup, paprika (or chipotle), pepper and salt in a small bowl.
  • Place salmon filets on a prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread the mustard mixture evenly on the salmon.
  • Roast until just cooked through (approximately eight to 12 minutes).
