New Development at Windhaven & 544
You may have been wondering what is all the activity at the Northeast corner of 544 & Windhaven. Arcadia Realty is developing 24.1 acres of land for approximately 130 residential home lots which will be called Parker Place. David Weekley will be the builder and the lot sizes will be approximately 40x100. As of this writing we do not have any pricing or floor plans, so stay tuned.

Renee Mears Realtors located in Castle Hills Village Shops is considering holding a blood drive to help Carter BloodCare with the struggling community blood supply.
We are planning to host the blood drive onsite at the Village Shops of Castle Hills on Friday 5-14-2021 from 10am to 5:00pm in the Carter BloodCare Bus. Appointments to donate blood are mandatory due to strict social distancing processes Carter BloodCare must follow to keep everyone safe.
All donors will receive the COVID-19 Antibody test for FREE!
We are taking this poll to see how many people will commit to donating blood at our blood drive so that Carter BloodCare can send us the amount of resources needed. A minimum of 20 appointments are required to secure the Carter BloodCare Bus.
Please let me know if you will commit to donating blood on this date. The actual sign up link to donate will be sent out at a later date and you will need to select the time you will be able to donate blood.
If you bought a home in 2020 - Time is running out to file for your Homestead Exemption. ENDS IN APRIL
A homestead exemption is a legal regime to protect the value of the homes of residents from property taxes, creditors, and circumstances that arise from the death of the homeowner spouse. Texas has great homestead exemption options for homeowners. Benefits include reducing the portion of the value that is taxed and limiting the annual increase in property taxes.

Everything Spring Salad
Recipe By: Ambitious Kitchen
A beautiful & healthy spring green salad with fresh produce, seeds, avocado & the BEST lemon basil vinaigrette. Enjoy as a main meal, bring it to a party, or pack it for lunch!
Ingredients
- 6 cups organic spinach
- 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced or diced
- 1/2 small red onion, sliced
- 1/3 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 medium ripe avocado, sliced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Lemon Basil Vinaigrette
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon honey or sugar
4 basil leaves, finely chopped
Freshly ground salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- To make the basil lemon vinaigrette: Whisk together all vinaigrette ingredients in a small bowl until well combined and emulsified. You can also pulse everything together in the food processor. Taste, add salt and pepper and adjust seasonings as necessary.
- There are two ways to enjoy this amazing salad! If you’re serving it at a party, try it on a platter:
- Arrange the greens on a large serving bowl. Arrange the other ingredients in groups on top of the greens. Serve with the basil lemon vinaigrette on the side.
- If you’re serving it for your family, you can place the ingredients evenly in bowls as pictured above and then add the dressing. Up to you! Enjoy!
